Nancy Williams is an associate Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist. There are very few behaviorists who work with cats and their problems. Cats pose a special challenge for their owners! They are loving and special pets that require very thoughtful handling. Cats are easily frightened, often misunderstood and can get "in trouble" for a number of problems. Ms. Williams as worked with many owners to solve their cat's issues. Most cats are removed from their home for behavior, rather than medical problems and there is much we can do to prevent this!           Ms. Williams promotes the use of scientific methods, management and environmental changes to solve many cat problems. In some cases a phone consult can be very effective to solve simple problems.          Ms. Williams not only works with many pet owners, and also serves as a consultant to solve cat behavior problems both in laboratory and pet industry settings. She presents seminars on cat behavior and on cat issues for veterinary practices and cat fanciers.
